Arrivals & Departure

Upon arrival at the Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA), international delegates will pass through the arrival concourse on Level 3.  To reach the Main Terminal Building, please take the Aerotrain, which operates at three to five minute intervals.

There are a total of 48 Immigration counters for arriving passengers and another 16 for transfer passengers. All foreigners are required to complete a disembarkation card before reaching this counter.

At KLIA, you are advised to check in as early as eight hours ahead of your scheduled time of departure. The airport provides 216 check-in counters, identified by alphabets A – M ( excluding I). Multi check in services are available, designed for the convenience off all passengers (arriving, departing or in transit).

KLIA is now equipped with wider WIFI service. This service allows airport community and passengers easier internet access for free. The WIFI service now covers the satellite building, contact pier, arrival and departure halls, as well as the KLIA Low Cost Carrier Terminal (LCCT).

The Visitors Service Centre is located on the third floor of the Main Terminal Building in the baggage reclaim area. It is headed by Tourism Malaysia and supported by Malaysia Airports and Malaysia Airlines. The centre is manned 24 hours a day. The Visitors Service Centre will enable passengers to get first hand information on places to visit in Malaysia, airport information, flight information, accommodation, transportation and other information that can assist them during their stay in Malaysia.
